Where are we?
Smithville Junior High School is located at the corner of 8th and
Wilkes Streets.
From Austin/Bastrop:
Take Highway 71 East 12 miles past Bastrop. Go past the main Smithville
exit (sign reads 95 South/Flatonia), and continue to the Shell gas
station past Colorado Drive. Immediately after the Shell Station, turn
right onto 8th Street and follow it all the way to the Smithville ISD
schools. Drive into the front gate, past the stadium on your left, all
the way to the Main Cafetorium in front of you (large brown brick
building). We are in the back of a concrete courtyard to the right,
with two gray double doors and a “Smithville Tiger Band”
sign above the doors.
From La Grange: Take
Highway 71 West about 15 miles, past the exit for Loop 230 through
town, and turn left on 8th Street at the Shell station, just past the
Smithville Regional Hospital. Follow 8th Street all the way to the
Smithville ISD schools. Drive into the front gate, past the stadium on
your left, all the way to the Main Cafetorium in front of you (large
brown brick building). We are in the back of a concrete courtyard to
the right, with two gray double doors and a “Smithville Tiger
Band” sign above the doors.
