Welcome to the web home of the Smithville High School Tiger Band.
This page will contain important information concerning the band program,
as well as a calendar of events, weekly announcements, and related links.
The Smithville Tiger Band will consistently maintain a performance standard
of excellence while affording each individual an opportunity for growth.
The marching style is corps-oriented combined with a precision influence
featuring a dynamic woodwind and brass line, progressive multi-percussion
section, and accomplished color guard. The music, drills, and routines
for every halftime show are designed for the entertainment value
and to challenge each band member.
In addition to football games, the Tiger Band also performs at pep rallies,
parades, concerts, and special engagements. The band is committed to serve
Smithville High School, the surrounding community, and the State of Texas.
Members are expected to represent the Tiger Band and Smithville High School
in a dignified manner at all times.
